Would you like to help support us? You can support the Country Doctor Youth Clinic in a variety of ways.
Your support of our mission is vitally important to the many young people in Seattle who depend on our services as primary medical care. Financial support at any level is appreciated. Tax deductible donations may be made through the University of Washington Foundation. Thank you!
SHOW YOUR SUPPORT
In addition to donating your time or money, you can show your support by joining our Facebook fan page. There you can keep up to date on events related to the clinic.
We look for friendly, enthusiastic, and dedicated volunteers who have a particular interest in working with our patient population and are able to commit to volunteering once a week on either Monday or Tuesday evenings for at least one year. We are extremely fortunate to have a dedicated crew of volunteers to help everything run smoothly. However, our turn-over is low, and we have very few volunteer positions available. In a typical year, we may only add one or two new volunteers.
If you are interested in volunteering you may e-mail us at firstname.lastname@example.org for more information, but please understand that we are able to accommodate very few of the many qualified applicants that we receive.
Country Doctor Youth Clinic operates very simply without significant administration costs. Funding for Country Doctor Youth Clinic is minimal and includes donations from two churches and two part-time salaried staff funded by HealthCare for the Homeless. Northwest Hospital provides our lab testing pro bono.
